About

Looking back at my career, I feel incredibly fortunate. My journey hasn't been linear, I've moved across multiple industries and roles, including legal, tech, ecommerce and now consulting. More recently, I have had the privilege of working at Airbnb, FairPrice and BCG, brands with products and services that have impacted my life.
Despite the diversity of changes, every transition has reinforced one core lesson: the ability to learn fast and adapt quicker is the key to delivering real impact. I've always sought out companies, products, and outcomes that truly resonate with me.
My passion for growth and meaningful work now drives what I do at BCG U. It's a huge privilege to lead my team dedicated to empowering mid-career job seekers in Singapore.
I still remember the feeling. The moment I found out I was laid off for the first time. A mixture of confusion, disappointment, and disbelief that a journey I'd invested so much in had ended suddenly. I took a few days off to process it.
What followed was one of the most challenging and ultimately some of the most formative periods of my career. Despite not having industry or role experience, I eventually completed multiple transitions into new industries, new roles, that allows me to do the work that I cared deeply about.
Facing the most difficult periods of my career, cycling has been my therapy. Long-distance rides mirror career journeys, where headwinds are the setbacks and tailwinds are the moments of momentum. Climbs are the learning curves and the long flats are the discipline of consistency.
Completing the 1200km Perth–Albany–Perth 2014 ride taught me that, preparation, resilience and community support are crucial elements to get you to the finish line, which also applies to career transitions.
You don't quit in the headwinds, and you stay grateful in the tailwinds. That's why I started Career Tailwind to help us navigate our career transitions with structure, resilience and belief, so we can keep pedalling until the wind shifts in our favour.
